Chelsie Henderson is a business law attorney who advises companies, entrepreneurs, startups, and business owners on a wide range of legal and operational matters. She works with clients across industries to provide practical, business-focused legal counsel, helping them make informed decisions, manage risk, and achieve their long-term goals.
Chelsie's practice includes business formation, corporate governance, contract drafting and negotiation, commercial transactions, employment-related business matters, and general corporate counseling. She also works with startups and emerging growth companies on entity formation, founder matters, equity incentive plans, commercial contracts, corporate governance, and other legal issues that arise as businesses launch, raise capital, and scale. In addition, she assists clients with venture capital and private equity transactions, mergers and acquisitions, and other strategic business matters.
Before beginning her legal career, Chelsie built a foundation in business management and client services through roles in the product recall and contact center industries, serving organizations throughout the United States and Canada. During law school, she also worked as a technical consultant for a cloud-based contact center technology company, advising businesses with national and global operations. Those experiences give her a practical understanding of the challenges businesses face and inform the pragmatic approach she brings to every client engagement.
While attending the Indiana University Robert H. McKinney School of Law, Chelsie served as Secretary of the Black Law Students Association, was a member of the Phi Delta Phi Legal Honor Society, and was an Associate Editor of the Indiana Law Review, where her work was published in Volume 58.
Outside the office, Chelsie enjoys tending to her indoor and outdoor plants, reading, cooking, and staying active. She especially values spending time with her husband and their two dogs—Kodak, a Rottweiler, and Cookie, a Golden Retriever.
