Jeanne Longsworth brings more than three decades of experience helping individuals, families, and business owners protect and transfer wealth. She concentrates her practice in wealth transfer and preservation, estate planning, business succession planning, and estate, probate, and trust administration.

A licensed attorney and Certified Public Accountant (CPA), Jeanne draws on her legal and financial background to counsel business owners, corporate executives, physicians, and other professionals on formulating and achieving their long-term objectives through carefully tailored estate and succession strategies. She is known for her ability to craft customized solutions that reflect each client’s unique circumstances and goals.

Jeanne founded Longsworth Law LLC in 2007 after more than 20 years as a partner at one of Indiana’s largest law firms. She is admitted to practice in Indiana, as well as the U.S. District Courts for the Northern and Southern Districts of Indiana. She earned her J.D. from Valparaiso University School of Law, where she served as Executive Editor of the Valparaiso University Law Review, and her B.S. in Accounting from Indiana University.

Outside of her legal practice, Jeanne is now the Co-Chair of the Trust & Estate Specialty Board for the Indiana State Bar Association and has served as Chair and Vice Chair of the Allen County Bar Association’s Probate, Trust & Tax Section, District 4 Representative for the Indiana State Bar Association’s Real Property, Probate & Trust Section, and President of the Fort Wayne Estate Planning Council, where she also served on the Board of Directors. She is also a member of the American Bar Association and the Indiana CPA Society.

Jeanne has long combined her professional work with significant community service. She has held leadership roles with organizations such as Indiana Institute of Technology, Toolcraft, Inc., the Helen P. Van Arnam Foundation, the Mary E. Van Drew Charitable Foundation, the Fort Wayne Sexual Assault Treatment Center, and the Fort Wayne Community Foundation, where she served as President from 1999–2001. Her community involvement has also extended to the Fort Wayne Ballet, the Alcohol Abuse Deterrent Program, Arts United, the YWCA, and Leadership Fort Wayne.
