Enjoys

As a business law attorney at Gutwein Law, Audrey spends most of her time helping startups with entity formation and capital raising through private securities, working with clients on matters ranging from friends and family convertibles to Series A, B, and C preferred equity rounds. In addition, Audrey assists with matters that frequently arise in the emerging technology space, including software/SaaS licensing agreements, equity incentives, and online terms and privacy policies.

Audrey’s practice also includes mergers and acquisitions for technology and middle market companies. Her practice in the technology space is informed by a background in intellectual property. Whether she is drafting a general contract or assisting with a complex merger or acquisition, Audrey makes protecting clients’ proprietary rights a primary focus.

The reasons she loves her practice at Gutwein Law? Audrey has seen first-hand the value sound legal counsel can bring to entrepreneurs, enabling them to focus on building their businesses. Audrey is also passionate about the impact startups and technology companies can have on local communities and the Midwest, and she enjoys the ability to play a small role in that ecosystem.

Audrey graduated with a B.S. in Chemistry from Purdue University before receiving her J.D. from Indiana University Robert H McKinney School of Law.

In her free time, she enjoys outdoor activities like biking, hiking, and camping. She is also an avid reader and is usually listening to music.
