At Gutwein Law, Ariel’s business law practice is primarily focused on helping startup and emerging tech clients with entity formation, capital raising, corporate governance, and contract negotiation.

Additionally, Ariel has experience representing buyers, sellers and joint ventures in asset and stock acquisitions, mergers, recapitalizations and reorganizations, and other transactions. She also has experience handling commercial real estate transactions where she has assisted clients in acquiring and developing commercial parcels as well as land use and zoning matters.

Ariel received her undergraduate degree from Concordia University—St. Paul before going on to obtain her J.D. from the University of North Dakota School of Law. While in law school, as a board member, Ariel helped organize the Criminal Law Associations annual 5K which raised funds for the National Center for Missing and Exploited Children. Additionally, as a board member of Phi Alpha Delta, Ariel helped organize a winter clothing drive for the Grand Forks community and a pet supplies drive for the Circle of Friends animal shelter in Grand Forks, North Dakota.

Outside of the office Ariel enjoys staying active outdoors, taking her chocolate lab to the park, and spending time with family and friends either on the lake or at a local brewery.
