Mike has been a lawyer for 36 years, litigating cases in a wide array of legal fields. Presently, Mike is focusing on general business litigation with an emphasis on real estate matters. His experience as an advocate is supplemented by his emphasis on communication, both of which help make him an effective trial lawyer. Mike enjoys resolving stressful disputes for clients and helping them navigate the complexities characteristic to litigation. He’s a problem solver, not a paper pusher.

Mike received his B.A. in History from Indiana University before graduating cum laude from Indiana University’s Robert H. McKinney School of Law, where he was Associate Editor of the Indiana Law Review. He later served as a law clerk for Justice Dixon W. Prentice of the Indiana Supreme Court. Mike has been admitted to practice in Indiana, its Northern and Southern districts, the Court of Appeals for the Seventh Circuit, the U.S. Claims Court and the U.S. District Court for the Eastern District of Wisconsin. He has been recognized by Best Lawyers in America in the area of Litigation - Land Use & Zoning since 2013.
