Because Gutwein Law likes to stay on the forefront of innovation, Dan's role is integral to our firm's success. On a daily basis, Dan leads the implementation and ongoing support of the firm's hardware and software, email, and security access. He determines technical requirements for business strategies, researches information technology standards, and identifies integration and hardware issues, all while maintaining an understanding of attorney and paralegal workflows and processes, as well as delivering reports and new processes for automation.

Before joining Gutwein Law, Dan worked at the University of Michigan as an IT Operations Supervisor. He got interested in computers at a young age when his father brought home an IBM computer, ultimately leading to more than 10 years of professional experience. Dan received his Bachelor's degree in History from William Paterson University and a Post Bachelorette from Wayne State University in Information Systems Management.

Outside of the firm's walls, Dan enjoys camping, canoeing, working out, cooking, playing music, and woodworking.
